Ukrainian Armed Forces Drones Attacked The Wildberries Logistics Hub In Yekaterinburg

On August 31, the Russian city of Yekaterinburg came under attack by Ukrainian drones. The target of the attack was the Wildberries marketplace’s logistics hub, located in that city approximately 2,000 km from Ukraine, according to "Obozrevatel".

Exilenova+ reported on the explosions near the Wildberries warehouse in Yekaterinburg at 10 a.m. Minsk time.

“Today, strike drones attacked the Wildberries logistics hub in Yekaterinburg,” the report stated.

So far, there has been no indication that the warehouse was damaged: local residents filmed the drones flying overhead and one of them crashing just a few meters from the facility. The warehouse covers an area of more than 150,000 square meters.

The governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler reported that “drones and debris” had landed on the logistics center’s grounds. “Fires have been reported,” he added.

This is not the first attempt by the Ukrainian Defense Forces to target this logistics hub: it was attacked in late July and early August. During one of the attacks, a strike hit a parking lot near the warehouse, where cars were burned.

A “drone hazard” alert was declared in the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation at around 7 a.m.
