Ukraine’s strikes on Wildberries logistics centers reflect deeper economic problems in the Russian Federation.

Moscow now finds itself in its most difficult situation since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. This view was expressed in an article for Newsweek by Joseph Epstein, director of the Turan Research Center .

According to his estimates, eight Wildberries logistics centers in the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Krai, and occupied Simferopol have been hit in recent weeks. As a result, the company may have lost more than 10% of its warehouse capacity, with damages estimated at approximately $460 million.

Epstein also believes that Ukrainian strikes on oil infrastructure have put significant economic pressure on Russia.

Furthermore, according to the analyst, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has changed its approach to the war, granting Ukraine greater freedom in the use of Western weapons.
