Moscow's Mayor Is On Edge Over The "multiple Increase" In Drone Attacks

Sobyanin claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have made the Russian capital their primary target.

Ukraine has begun attacking the Russian capital with an increasing number of strike drones.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has publicly complained about this, according to RBC-Ukraine reports, citing “Vesti.”

“The number of drones that are launched toward Moscow has increased significantly in recent months,” Sobyanin complains.

Moreover, he claims that Ukraine directs about 67% of the total number of drones attacking the aggressor country toward the Russian capital each time.

“Of all the attacks carried out almost daily across Russian territory, two-thirds of the drones are heading toward Moscow,” the mayor asserts.

Sobyanin also added that the city authorities, together with the Russian Ministry of Defense, are currently actively strengthening the drone defense system.

“To protect Moscow from Ukrainian drones, data from surveillance cameras, radars, and reports from citizens is being processed 24/7,” added the mayor of the Russian capital.

However, Sobyanin declined to disclose the extent of the damage that Ukrainian attacks have already caused to Moscow.
