Lithuanian Intelligence Has Uncovered Russia's Plan To Attack The Baltic States

A possible scenario for the Russian operation has been revealed.

Lithuanian military intelligence has information indicating that Russia may use Ukrainian-made drones to attack critical infrastructure in the Baltic states, according to LRT.

According to Lithuanian intelligence, Russia may use captured Ukrainian drones to conceal the true origin of an attack and deny its involvement in potential strikes on NATO territory.

This information was also confirmed by Lithuanian Defense Minister Roberta Kaunas.

“We have information that Russia is considering the possibility of carrying out unconventional kinetic attacks on critical infrastructure targets in the Baltic region. Ukrainian-made drones may likely be used for this purpose,” the defense minister stated.

Despite this, Kaunas did not disclose exactly which facilities might be targeted or when such attacks might occur.

It is important to note that Poland’s government committee on national security recently discussed possible scenarios for a Russian false-flag operation, specifically involving drones disguised as Ukrainian ones.

In addition, leaders of NATO’s eastern flank countries recently issued a public warning about possible provocations by Russia, citing intelligence indicating that such actions are being prepared.
