The SBU Has Revealed Details Of A Massive Attack On The Yaroslavl Oil Refinery

At the same time, two FSB patrol ships were damaged in Kerch.

Ukrainian drones struck the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery and two FSB Coast Guard vessels in Kerch.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine on Telegram.

The SBU, together with other units of the Armed Forces, carried out successful strikes on the “Slavneft-YANOS” oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia. The facility is located more than 700 km from Ukraine’s state border.

The Yaroslavl Oil Refinery is one of the five largest enterprises in Russia’s oil refining industry, with a capacity of nearly 15 million metric tons of oil per year.

The refinery produces:

— gasoline,

— diesel fuel,

— jet fuel,

— other strategically important petroleum products for central Russia and the Moscow metropolitan area.

As a result of the attack by Ukrainian drones on the plant’s premises, at least six explosions were heard, and fires broke out in four different sections of the plant.

According to preliminary information:

— Four RVS-2000 crude oil storage tanks were damaged, resulting in a crude oil spill;

— Two tanks are engulfed in flames.

In addition, key processing units ELOU-1 and AVT-3 were damaged, and fires broke out on them.

Furthermore, as a result of drone strikes by the SBU on the port area in Kerch in the temporarily occupied Crimea, two Project 10410 (“Svetlyak”) patrol ships of the Russian FSB Coast Guard were damaged:

— “Balaklava,”

— “Kerch.”
