Another Worker Dies At "Belaruskali"

This is the third such incident in two months.

On August 6, at Mine No. 4, a 29-year-old on-duty electrician (mechanic) and equipment repair technician Roman Tyshevich sustained fatal injuries.

“Belaruskali” reports that he died while working to connect an electrical cable to the scraper loader of the tunneling complex.

A commission is investigating the circumstances and causes of the accident.

This is already the third fatality at the company in the past month. On June 15, while working at “Belaruskali,” a 34-year-old Alexei Cherepok was killed—he was crushed by a loader. And just a few days before that, another worker at the plant was killed when a reinforced concrete door lintel he was installing collapsed.
