A Very Powerful Explosion Rocked Moscow

Today at around 11:15 a.m., residents of various districts in Moscow reported a loud explosion. The sound was particularly loud in the southwestern part of the Russian capital, according to the Telegram channel “Charter-97%”.
According to eyewitnesses, a shock wave was felt in Konkovo. Reports also came in from Solntsevo, Vernadsky Prospekt, and Kommunarka. Some residents in eastern, northwestern, and northeastern Moscow heard the sound at the same time.
The cause of the incident is still unknown. There is no official information.

Local residents report that the walls and windows in their apartments shook.
The loud sound was heard around 11 a.m. in several parts of the Russian capital and its suburbs.
According to local residents, the shockwave was felt in various parts of the city. In particular, a distinct and distant sound of an explosion was heard in offices and residential buildings in central and northern Moscow.
In addition, residents near the “Varshavskaya” and “Domodedovskaya” metro stations, as well as in the suburbs, reported hearing the loud sound—the explosion was also heard by residents of towns near Moscow.
Russians are not currently observing any visual signs of a missile strike or a fire. Moscow’s official services and authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
“We just heard a distinct, distant, loud explosion at the office in central Moscow; almost immediately afterward, friends from the suburbs—who were in completely different locations—messaged that they had heard it too. Apparently, something very powerful exploded,” witnesses note.
Other eyewitnesses add that the force of the blast caused windows to rattle in many apartments, though nothing is visible.
