The Ukrainian Armed Forces Struck Drone Launch Sites In Donetsk And Crimea

A command post and other key Russian targets have been struck.

On August 31 and during the night of September 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of Russian military targets—from Crimea to areas in the Russian Federation’s rear.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Strikes on Crimea and the Donbas

In the city of Donetsk and in Gvardeyskoye, located in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian units struck storage, preparation, and launch sites for attack drones. It is from these locations that the occupiers launch drones into Ukrainian territory.

Additionally, in Mirny, in occupied Crimea, an enemy communications hub was successfully neutralized.

Targets Struck in Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk Regions

In Rody, Zaporizhzhia region, an occupiers’ command and observation post was struck. This is one of the facilities from which the Russians coordinate the actions of their units in this sector.

In Verkhnokamenka, Luhansk Oblast, Ukrainian defenders struck an area where the enemy had concentrated military equipment.

Rear areas of the Russian Federation were also targeted. In Borisovka, Belgorod Oblast, a stockpile of fuel and lubricants that the occupiers were using to supply their equipment was destroyed.

The extent of the damage inflicted on the enemy is still being determined.

Separately, the General Staff reported confirmation of the results of a preliminary strike. According to the analysis, on August 30, Ukrainian units struck a launch pad and a UAV storage facility.

Both targets were located in the Tsymbulova area of the Oryol Region in Russia.
