A Huge Line Has Formed At The Border With Poland

According to the State Border Committee, a line of 775 passenger cars formed at the "Brest" border crossing on the morning of September 1 as people waited to enter Poland. However, it is possible to enter Poland via "Bruzgi" fairly quickly. Journalists from “Belsat” are reporting on what is happening at the border.
According to the State Border Committee, as of around 10:00 a.m. Minsk time, there were no other traffic queues at the exit from Belarus into the EU besides the one at “Brest.”
Drivers who entered Belarus around 11 a.m. via “Terespol” reported in a chat group—where border crossings are discussed—that they approached the barrier immediately.
Vehicles passing through the “Bruzgi” checkpoint into Poland were moving quickly.
“We pulled up to (the checkpoint. – Ed.) RB 01.09 at 8:00 a.m. and left at 8:20 a.m. The inspection was cursory; they didn’t ask any questions. At 8:40 a.m., we entered the Polish (side. – Ed.). They checked the fire extinguisher and asked where we were going. They checked the headlights. They asked us to open our bags. We left at 9:36 a.m. “Total: 1.5 hours,” said one of the drivers who traveled through “Bruzgi.”
The State Border Committee also reports no lines of buses.
Passengers on buses that traveled overnight from Belarus to Poland via “Brest–Terespol” report in chat rooms that everything went fairly quickly. One of the Gomel–Warsaw buses arrived at the border shortly after midnight on September 1. Since there were no lines, it was able to drive straight through the barrier, where two other buses were already waiting. At 2:30 a.m., the bus passed through Belarusian customs; at 4:00 a.m., it left the Belarusian border checkpoint; and at 7:30 a.m., it arrived at the Polish customs checkpoint. By 8:25 a.m., the bus had already left the Polish customs checkpoint.
Those traveling by bus through “Kamenniy Log” to Lithuania also report that there are no lines and that the border crossing process is quite fast. For example, the Minsk–Vilnius bus arrived at the border at 8:50 a.m. on September 1 and immediately pulled up to the Belarusian barrier. At 9:35 a.m., it passed through the Belarusian checkpoint, and at 9:40 a.m., it pulled up to the Lithuanian barrier. There was one bus ahead of it, which was being inspected.
