16 strikes were delivered.
On the night of Friday, September 11, Ukrainian drones launched a strike on strategic targets in Russia’s Saratov Oblast. According to OSINT monitoring channels, the main target of the attack was the Saratov Oil Refinery.
An alert regarding a possible UAV attack in the region was issued around 2:00 a.m. Minsk time—warning systems were activated in areas of potential threat. Judging by social media posts, the main strike that night was directed specifically at Saratov: eyewitnesses reported explosions and subsequent fires on the refinery grounds. The monitoring channel Astra has already counted at least 16 drone attacks on this facility.
The governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin confirmed damage to infrastructure as a result of the attack, but did not specify exactly which facilities were affected.
In addition to the refinery, a fire broke out that same night at the Ozon logistics hub in Saratov.
