"Negligent farmers" are undergoing military training, most likely at a military base near Gomel. Journalists from the publication "Flagstok", who analyzed photos and videos released by the Ministry of Defense.
It was officially reported that the exercises are taking place in southern Belarus. Journalists noted that in one of the photos, an armored personnel carrier is standing on distinctive hexagonal concrete slabs. In southern Belarus, such slabs are known to exist only at the military airfield in Zyabrovka, where the 1,530th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces has been stationed since 2022.
The Ministry of Defense also showed a firing range where training is taking place. It is located on a small, earthen-walled area overgrown with forest—such locations also exist in Zyabrovka in the Gomel District. These are old, fortified parking areas for strategic aviation.
It is also known that military personnel from the Vitebsk 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade are stationed in Zyabrovka “for reinforcement.” “Slacking” workers were sent to this unit, among others.
Agricultural workers were drafted into the army by order of Lukashenko. This was his way of punishing those who did not work hard enough during the harvest.
