Hundreds Of Drones Have Struck Russia: 12 Regions Are Under Attack

The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the intensity of the Ukrainian attack.

On the morning of September 12, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially acknowledged that Ukraine had carried out a new large-scale drone attack on various regions of the aggressor country.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The enemy’s defense ministry specified that it repelled the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack between 8:00 p.m. on September 11 and 8:00 a.m. on September 12.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that its air defense forces allegedly intercepted and destroyed 230 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.

It is noteworthy that the enemy has not disclosed the exact number of drones that the Ukrainian Defense Forces deployed during the latest airstrike.

The Russian Ministry of Defense specified that Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over the following territories:

Astrakhan Oblast;

Belgorod Oblast;

Bryansk Oblast;

Volgograd Oblast;

Voronezh Oblast;

Kursk Oblast;

Lipetsk Oblast;

Oryol Oblast;

Penza Oblast;

Rostov Oblast;

Samara Oblast;

Saratov Oblast;

the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that drones had been intercepted over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

Incidentally, it was reported this morning that a chemical plant in Togliatti was targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces this time. According to the latest reports, the facility in question is “KuibyshevAzot”.

In Taganrog, according to OSINT sources, several fires have broken out. In particular, there are reports of a fire in a tank on the grounds of a local automobile plant.

In addition, drones likely struck the “Taganrog-Central” military airfield overnight. The 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment is based there, and the 325th Aircraft Repair Plant is located nearby.
