Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi exchanged brief remarks on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, an intergovernmental organization of which Russia is a co-founder. This was reported by RIA Novosti propagandists.

Earlier, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov stated in a comment to “Vesti” propagandists that a bilateral meeting between Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping was not planned.

On September 11, Putin arrived in India on a three-day visit to attend the BRICS summit.
