Russia will not halt military operations against Ukraine during any potential negotiations. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this position, according to Russian media reports.

“We remain ready for negotiations, but we will not halt the special military operation during the negotiations,” he told reporters at the BRICS summit in New Delhi.

Separately, Lavrov called Vladimir Zelenskyy’s invitation to visit Moscow a “huge gesture of goodwill” on Russia’s part.
