This was reported by Ukrainian monitoring channels.
At least three different Ukrainian monitoring projects reported the violation of Belarusian airspace, noted "Flagstok".
The first incursions began at 11:36 a.m. and lasted at least three hours. At least 13 UAVs were involved.
According to the Ukrainian monitoring channel eRadar, these were typically classic “Gerani” drones with an engine that sounds like a running moped.
Most often, the drones violated the southern border of the Gomel Region and moved in the direction of Mozyr, Narovlia, and Lelchitsy.
In one instance, a UAV entered Belarus from the direction of Repok, heading toward Dnipro. At least two drones headed toward Mozyr, traveling more than 20 kilometers through Belarusian territory.
These UAV incursions are linked to Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine’s western regions amid foggy weather conditions.
The Ukrainian OSINT project “Oko Gora” has mapped the flight paths of Russian UAVs, which are en masse cutting across the territory of the Bragin District salient.
