A special meeting convened by the prime minister is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Polish Government Security Center, according to Onet.

The meeting concerns overnight Russian attacks near the Polish border.

The meeting, initiated by Donald Tusk—as first reported by TVN24—will be attended by ministers and officials responsible for the work of the intelligence services. Government spokesperson Adam Szlapka later confirmed the planned meeting.

It is worth noting that the spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Jacek Goriszewski, stated that on the night of September 13, when Russia attacked Ukrainian regions, the “threat was real” for his country.

The spokesperson for the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit of Poland Dariusz Sinecki stated that on the night of September 13, a drone struck a truck near the “Yagodin-Dorohusk” border crossing.

Earlier, the press secretary of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko stated that there were no direct hits on the “Yagodin” checkpoint on the border with Poland.

Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that there had been no violation of the country’s airspace.
