Explosions Near Volgograd: A Large Factory Caught Fire During A Rocket Attack

On the night of September 15, at one of Russia's largest cement plants, located in the Volgograd Region, powerful explosions rocked the site. Prior to that, an air raid alert had been issued in the region due to the threat of drones and missiles, according to “Focus”.

Explosions rocked the grounds of Sebryakovcement JSC in the city of Mikhailovka, Volgograd Region. Heavy smoke was observed afterward, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene on an emergency basis. This was reported by OSINT channels.

“Explosions rocked the grounds of Sebrakovcement JSC in the Volgograd Region; prior to this, a missile and drone alert had been issued in the city, and fire crews were dispatched to the facility,” analysts write.

Footage from the scene circulating online shows thick smoke rising above the plant’s grounds.

As clarified by the monitoring channel Dnipro Osint (Garbuz), the explosions occurred near cement kiln No. 5. This is one of the plant’s key production lines.
