The drone could carry 20-kilogram munitions.

A unique Russian octocopter capable of dropping heavy mines and ammunition was destroyed in the Kupiansk sector. This was reported by the 77th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose soldiers destroyed this drone.

The brigade notes that these are soldered-together FPV drones with eight motors, whose increased payload capacity allows the occupiers to drop anti-tank mines and other munitions weighing more than 20 kilograms onto Ukrainian positions.

It is noted that, despite the difficult situation on the front and the enemy’s regular attempts to improve its weaponry, the brigade’s fighters are effectively neutralizing the latest drones, countering enemy tactics, and thwarting the occupiers’ plans.

In a video posted by the brigade, one can see how they shoot down this 8-motor drone, as well as destroy enemy positions and the Russian occupiers themselves.
