A former political prisoner posted a video on social media that was recorded at the border.

Former political prisoner and journalist Andrzej Pochoebut has returned to Poland from Belarus, according to the newspaper Wyborcza. According to the publication, he crossed the border on the morning of September 15 at the “Kuznica” border crossing. He himself posted a video on Facebook showing his approach to the Polish border crossing.

Pochobut shared stories about his trip on Facebook, posting photos of the places he visited.

“What I miss most in Grodno are my friends—people I’m more likely to run into these days in Białystok, Warsaw, or Vilnius. I used to never be able to walk through the city center without seeing a familiar face. Now it’s just part of everyday life. When I ran into an acquaintance on Soviet Square, he looked at me as if I were a UFO. And every one of my acquaintances I spoke with in Grodno had the same feeling,” he wrote in one of his posts.
