Sibiga: Ukraine Supports The New U.S. Proposal For A Ceasefire With Russia

Ukraine is ready to support U.S. diplomatic efforts to reach an energy truce with Russia. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga during an appearance on “Novosti LIVE”.

Ukraine supports the new ceasefire proposal

According to Sibiga, Ukraine will work to implement the U.S. proposal for an energy ceasefire with the aggressor country.

The minister says that international partners have now been informed of Ukraine’s position regarding a possible pause in strikes against Russia’s energy sector.

“Ukraine supports the United States’ efforts aimed at achieving an energy ceasefire,” Sibiga assured.

He also noted that several other close international partners have already submitted their proposals for working toward a future agreement.

At the same time, the minister says, there is no final agreement with Russia yet. Ukraine hopes that the joint efforts of its international partners, primarily the United States, will help reach an agreement.
