A 22-year-old Model From St. Petersburg Died In The Dokshitsy District

An oncoming car crashed into the Kia she was riding in with her friends.
The life of Russian woman Elina Mikhailova came to a tragic end on August 31 near the village of Kalnik in the Dokshitsy District when an oncoming car crashed into the Kia in which she was traveling with friends, according to "Zerkalo".
Official accident reports provide a brief description: At around 2:30 p.m. at the 113th kilometer of the Minsk–Vitebsk highway, a 51-year-old driver of a Ford Galaxy veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia.
As a result of the head-on collision, Elina was trapped in the car along with the driver. Rescuers had to extract them.
All those injured in the accident were taken to hospitals. The driver was diagnosed with multiple injuries and fractures. One female passenger was in critical condition. She was diagnosed with an open head injury, broken ribs, and multiple fractures of the pelvis and legs. Another passenger was able to return to her home country of Russia on her own after receiving medical care. Elina, however, died at the scene—she has already been buried in St. Petersburg.
Even during her school years, she was actively involved in modeling. Her profile states that Elina graduated from an art school, was a member of a theater troupe, and studied contemporary dance. Even during her school years, Elina Mikhailova worked as a professional model—she participated in fashion shows for Russian and European brands and appeared in advertisements.
She participated in fashion shows for major European and Russian brands. In 2017, she walked the runway at CrimeanFashion Kids Week in Crimea.
After high school, Mikhailova enrolled at the Russian State Pedagogical University.
