In certain sectors of the front, a Russian recruit's life expectancy may be as short as 20 to 30 minutes. This was reported by FREEDOM citing a statement by General Dan Kane, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

According to him, these losses are linked to the rapid development of military technology and Ukraine’s widespread use of drones equipped with artificial intelligence. These drones utilize computer vision and are capable of striking targets even without GPS navigation.

Kane noted that the combination of inexpensive, high-precision weapons and rapid technological adoption is changing the nature of combat operations.

Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) noted that North Korean military forces may replace Russian units in certain sectors of the front in the Sumy region.
