Melitina Staniuta Shared Details Of Her Bachelorette Party In Warsaw

The wedding of a famous gymnast is scheduled for October 2026.
World and European rhythmic gymnastics champion Melitina Staniuta posted a photo from her bachelorette party on her Instagram Stories. It took place in Warsaw, as noted by Tribuna.by.
Stanyuta’s bachelorette party was quite low-key—just her and three friends. The gymnast herself chose white pants and a crop top for the event. She wore a veil on her head.
Stanyuta had previously announced that the wedding is scheduled for October 2026.
As a reminder, on December 17 of last year, the Belarusian gymnast announced that she had become engaged to her fiancé, a French citizen.
“It was a ‘proposal-trip’: ‘Pack your bags—we’re leaving in 24 hours.’ It was wonderful, and that evening he invited me to the Roditop restaurant and asked the staff to close off the terrace just for us—with a view of Prague’s charming Old Town,” Melitina later recounted. She noted that her fiancé proposed not only in French but also in Belarusian.
She didn’t reveal her fiancé’s name, but she shared a few facts about him and herself:
“We share the same zodiac sign—Scorpio;
There’s a 371-day age difference between us (he’s older);
He’s from Brittany (northern France);
We drive the same make of car (what a coincidence);
He speaks four languages, and I speak five.”
Melitina Stanyuta is a 32-year-old Belarusian gymnast, a multiple medalist at the World and European Championships, and an Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus (2015). She is the great-granddaughter of the Soviet Belarusian actress Stefania Stanyuta.
In 2020, Melitina signed a letter from athletes calling for new, fair elections and opposing the violence of the Belarusian authorities.
“To be honest, I doubt I’ll ever be ready for a serious relationship. At least not until I’m done with sports—I definitely won’t get married,” — said the then-18-year-old Stanyuta.
She ended her athletic career in 2016, around the same time her romance with kickboxer Vitaly Gurkov was making headlines. Until 2020, Stanyuta worked in Belarusian television.
