The pilots had only a few seconds to make a decision: retreat or do everything possible to protect their loved ones. Maneuvering at extremely low altitudes, the Ukrainian pilots executed a precise launch of an R-60 air-to-air missile, completely destroying the enemy “Banderol” in mid-air.
