On the morning of September 2, a powerful explosion rocked occupied Sevastopol, after which a Mazda caught fire. A man may have been killed as a result. According to sources from the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”, the incident involved the assassination of a high-ranking Russian military officer.

The explosion occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Kolobov Street. Local residents said the sound was so loud that it could be heard on neighboring streets. After the explosion, eyewitnesses noticed a foreign-made car on fire. Russian security forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the street.

Later, “Crimean Wind,” citing its own sources, clarified that a Russian occupier—an officer of the Russian Armed Forces—had been injured in the car explosion. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained injuries and is receiving medical care. According to another account, he died from his injuries.
