Operation "Vivaldi" Inflicted Heavy Losses On The Russian Armed Forces

Newly elected State Duma deputies are demanding the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from the area near Liman.
Newly elected deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, whose relatives were killed in the war against Ukraine, are drafting a closed-door appeal to Defense Minister Andrei Belousov calling for the withdrawal of troops from the Lyman sector. This was reported by the “Atesh” partisan movement.
According to the partisans, the deputies have learned of massive losses suffered by Russian forces in the Liman area, where Operation “Vivaldi” by the Third Army Corps is ongoing. “Atesh” agents, who are part of the Russian Armed Forces’ “Center” military group, note the significant technological superiority of Ukrainian forces in this sector and complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deploying new robotic systems.
The appeal to Belousov will also address the incompetence of Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, and systemic problems within the Russian army. In particular, it will address the widespread lies cultivated by Russian military commanders in order to secure new awards for allegedly captured settlements.
As previously reported, during the “Vivaldi” offensive operation, Biletsky’s corps thwarted an attempt by Russian forces to encircle the fortified belt of cities in the Donetsk region from the north and south. During the first and second phases of the operation, the Third Corps and attached units returned 125 km² of territory to Ukrainian control, 50 km² of which had been deoccupied. Among the liberated settlements is the village of Shandrigolovo, in the battles for which the Russians lost a significant number of infantrymen. Operation “Vivaldi” continues.
“The forces of the Third Army Corps are daily reducing the offensive capabilities of three Russian armies: the Russian Federation’s 1st Tank Army, 20th Combined Arms Army, and 25th Combined Arms Army. During the second phase, more than 800 enemy servicemen were killed. Including the wounded and prisoners of war, the enemy’s total losses amounted to more than 3,000 people,” reported Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky.
