Zelenskyy: I Hope The War Will End Before Winter With Trump's Help

The President of Ukraine and the U.S. President are holding a bilateral meeting in New York.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that the full-scale war would end by winter with the help of U.S. President Donald Trump.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a broadcast of the meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

“I hope we can end this war by winter, and Trump will help with that,” Zelenskyy said.

For his part, Trump emphasized that both the Ukrainian president and the Russian dictator want the war to end.

“The time has come. Too many people are dying, and nobody wants that,” the U.S. president stressed.
