Drones Attacked Ufa: Explosions Can Be Heard, And Smoke Is Visible Near A Local Oil Refinery

The Russian region of Bashkortostan was attacked by a UAV.

Local residents are reporting sounds of explosions over Ufa. According to them, air defense systems are attempting to shoot down drones.

An OSINT analyst from the Telegram channel ASTRA, after analyzing an eyewitness photo, determined that smoke is visible near a local oil refinery.

Restrictions on aircraft departures and arrivals were imposed at Ufa Airport.

The monitoring channel Exilenova+ notes that there are three oil refineries located in Ufa’s industrial zone, which is why Russian authorities have stepped up security there.

On September 21, there were also reports of drone attack on an oil refinery in Bashkortostan. Online reports mentioned smoke over Ufa.

In August, the local enterprises “Bashneft-Novoyl,” “Bashneft-UNPZ,” and “Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim” were attacked.
