A woman from Minsk loa_ov accused the Belarusian “Alfa Bank” of disclosing personal data.

““Are you aware that the bank is sharing your data?” she asks. “Dear ‘Alfa-Bank,’ I sent a money transfer, and today I saw my passport number, full name, and the issuing authority listed on the statement of the person I sent it to.

On what grounds is this personal data being disclosed? This is the first time I’ve seen my personal data on a statement.”

The bank responded to the Minsk resident’s post and promised to look into the situation “as soon as possible.”

“We’ve sent you a private message; you can reply to us or contact us through your preferred support channel. We’d like to look into the situation as soon as possible,” the bank’s message reads.
