More than 3.5 million Belarusians currently live outside Belarus.

This was reported on September 23 by Belarus’s Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs Alexander Rumak, according to the “Minsk-Novosti” news agency.

According to data from 2023, more than 500,000 Belarusians live in Russia, about 440,000 in Ukraine, and more than 180,000 in Kazakhstan.
