Russians Damaged A Maternity Hospital In Kyiv

A boy was born in a shelter during the attack.

During massive Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of September 24, Maternity Hospital No. 2 sustained damage. Medical staff and patients were taking shelter, where a baby boy was born at 2:05 a.m.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the director of the Kyiv City Health Department Tetyana Mostipan.

According to her, the shelling partially shattered windows and doors on the first through fifth floors of the maternity hospital on the side facing the parking lot. Windows in the laundry room and boiler room were also damaged.

At the time of the Russian attack, patients and staff were in the shelter, so there were no casualties among them.

It was in the maternity hospital’s shelter that a baby was born during the shelling.

“At 2:05 a.m., in the midst of the attack, a baby boy was born at the Kyiv maternity hospital. Even on such a terrible night, life goes on. Our medical staff remain by their patients’ sides under any circumstances and do everything possible to ensure that help is provided in a timely manner,” Mostepan said.
Despite the damage sustained by the building, the maternity hospital continues to operate and provide medical care.
