The Ukrainian Armed Forces Thwarted Russian Forces' Preparations For An Offensive On Zaporizhzhia

Artillery and armored vehicles have been hit in Gulyaypole.

Soldiers from the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces delivered a series of effective strikes against enemy targets in Huliaipole. Among the targets destroyed were enemy personnel, self-propelled artillery, howitzers, other artillery systems, and enemy armored vehicles.

Our defenders also destroyed an enemy tank designed for operations in a nuclear war environment. A video of the successful operation to destroy enemy positions was published on the brigade’s Telegram channel.

The brigade emphasized that the enemy views the city of Huliaipole as a springboard for further offensive operations toward Zaporizhzhia.

“Urban development allows the enemy to concentrate personnel and equipment, deploy command posts, establish artillery positions, and set up takeoff points for pilots. The existing infrastructure allows these actions to be carried out more covertly,” noted military personnel from the 7th Airborne Corps.

Soldiers of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces, specifically the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol, delivered a series of effective strikes against enemy targets in Hulyaypole.

As a result of the successful operation, the artillery units struck enemy personnel, self-propelled guns, howitzers, other artillery systems, and armored vehicles. Some of the targets were detected directly at their firing positions.

The defenders noted that among the destroyed equipment was a T-55 tank. This is a medium tank designed for operations in conditions of nuclear warfare, which was adopted by the Soviet Army in the 1950s.
