Journalists from “Agency” have discovered the name of the granddaughter of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin—the daughter of Katerina Tikhonova, head of the “Innopraktika” Foundation, and ballet choreographer Igor Zelensky. According to a source, the girl’s name is Elsa Tikhonova, and she was born in December 2017.

Journalists identified the child’s name while analyzing a leaked database from the Russian Federal Border Service. In the database, the girl appeared twice as Elsa Igorevna Tikhonova during trips abroad with her parents. She left Russia for the first time on November 11, 2019, shortly before her second birthday.

Accompanied by her mother and father, the girl flew on a business jet operated by the German airline Air Hamburg to Munich, where Zelenskyy was working at the time. Later, she also flew to Croatia on a Bombardier Global 5000.

As noted by “The Agency,” the girl was given her mother’s last name, while retaining her father’s patronymic. Journalists also pointed out the coincidence that the name Elsa matches that of the heroine from the animated film “Frozen.”

Katerina Tikhonova is considered the youngest of Putin’s official daughters. Her personal life and the dictator’s family are not publicly disclosed, which is why journalists have previously reported that the head of state’s relatives use different last names.
