Two Oil Refineries In Russia Are On Fire Following Attacks By Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided details.

Ukrainian defense forces struck two Russian oil refineries and enemy radar stations on September 24 and during the night of September 25.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian defenders struck the “Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez” oil refinery, located in the city of Perm. A fire has been reported on the facility’s grounds.

The plant’s refining capacity is approximately 13 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The plant produces fuel and other petroleum products and is also actively involved in supplying the Russian Armed Forces with fuel and lubricants.

In addition, the Defense Forces attacked the “Novoshakhtinsky” oil refinery in the Rostov Region, where a fire also broke out following the strikes.

This facility has a refining capacity of approximately 7.5 million metric tons of crude oil per year. It is one of the key suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and plays a role in supplying the Russian military.

In addition, in the Novoshakhtinsk area, the Ukrainian military struck two enemy radar stations. These were the 64L6 “Gamma-S1” and 39N6 “Kasta-2E2” systems.

“Operations against key military and infrastructure targets of the Russian aggressor continue,” emphasized the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
