The Threat To Slavyansk Has Almost Been Lifted

An OSINT expert spoke about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' secret successes.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have made further gains on the section of the front between Borova and Slavyansk, although these have not yet been officially announced. The threat to Slavyansk from the Russian Federation has been virtually eliminated.

This was reported by the authoritative OSINT analyst Klement Molin.

According to his information, Ukrainian troops are successfully advancing along a 90-km stretch of the front. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are maintaining secrecy to avoid alerting the enemy.

“In this direction, Ukrainian forces are close to securing Slavyansk—one of the two key cities in the Donbas—by pushing back the front line. The city of Lyman, which serves as the northern ‘stronghold’ of the Donbas, is now well-defended and fully supplied… Most of the liberated territories have not yet been officially announced by the Ukrainian side—we’ll have to wait a little longer,” Molin said.

He noted that the Russian “West” group suffered a serious defeat in the war against Ukraine in 2026. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are now successfully cutting off the occupiers’ advances.

“Limited offensive operations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2026 have already allowed them to liberate twice as much territory as during the 2023 counteroffensive,” the OSINT expert stated.
