F-18 Fighter Jets Are Conducting Live-fire Exercises In Estonia

NATO troops are practicing how to take down drones.

On Monday, September 28, live-fire exercises using the shipboard cannons of F-18 fighter jets are taking place in Estonia between the islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.

This was reported by ERR.

As noted, the Spanish air defense contingent is using this exercise to practice taking down drones.

The live-fire exercises will continue until 3:00 p.m. local time. To ensure safety, the Estonian Navy ship EML Valve will be stationed in the maritime zone, and the Estonian Air Force’s Air Operations Control Squadron will coordinate the activities of the exercise participants.

In addition, from September 28 through October 4, NATO fighter jets will conduct training flights throughout Estonia. In particular, flights at low altitudes and at supersonic speeds are possible.
