Zelenskyy: Russia Has, In Fact, Already Begun An Additional Mobilization

The President of Ukraine discussed the findings of the intelligence report.

Russia has, in fact, already begun carrying out an additional mobilization. The Kremlin is increasing the number of people it is recruiting into the army through various methods.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Ukrainian head of state discussed the findings of a report by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense regarding the aggressor country’s future plans.

“In fact, the Russians have already begun an additional mobilization—they are increasing the number of people they are recruiting through various methods. They also plan to increase the recruitment of foreigners,” said the Ukrainian president.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of the governments of the countries from which Russia is recruiting soldiers taking action to counter this. He added that Ukraine will inform each of them about this.

“We also have new information regarding the recruitment of North Korean military personnel by Russia: there are currently more than 8,000 North Korean soldiers on Russian territory. In addition, preparations are underway to deploy a contingent of another 10,000—they are being selected for training and subsequent transfer to Russia,” the Ukrainian president noted.
