The Russian Z-channel “Goverdit Rukovodstvo” reports about the dire situation facing Russian troops on the front lines. The author of the report attributes the capture of soldiers to a lack of communication and supply problems, and also complains about a shortage of drones.

According to him, Russian troops have been stuck in their positions for days without water, and some have already had to drink their own urine. There is also a shortage of drones capable of delivering food and water. “There’s no communication, no logistics, no drones that could at least drop off food and water at the positions. The guys have been sitting there for days without water; many have already tasted their own urine—and I’m not exaggerating! [...] No spare parts, no drones, no jammers. They say to shoot down the FPVs with bullets,” writes the author of the post.

The post also states that instead of the necessary equipment, units are receiving ammunition. The author criticizes proposals to do without drones and jammers, relying instead on tanks and soldiers trained for assaults.

He also leveled specific complaints against foundations raising money to support Russian troops: from his vantage point, he saw no results from their aid. In his assessment, those responsible for logistics are afraid to report shortages of essential supplies to their superiors, and the consequences of this are reflected in personnel casualties.

Against this backdrop, the advance of Russian troops has slowed, and Ukrainian counterattacks are complicating attempts to encircle key cities in the Donetsk region, Reuters reported on September 28. Russia continues its offensive in the Konstantinovka area and is seeking to capture the entire region, about 20% of which remains under Ukrainian control.
