Lavrov Threatens Poland

The Russian Foreign Minister reacted nervously to Warsaw's proposal to set up Patriot production in the country.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov began issuing threats against Poland while commenting on Warsaw’s proposal to host the production of U.S. Patriot missiles on Polish territory. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The minister noted that Putin has repeatedly cited this doctrine.

“I urge you to carefully study the relevant section of this crucial document,” — Lavrov told media representatives on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Valdai International Club.

A facility for manufacturing missiles for Patriot systems intended for Ukraine could be located on Polish territory. This proposal was put forward by the republic’s Deputy Minister of Defense Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarniecka. According to her, this would protect the ammunition plant for Kyiv from Russian strikes.
