A Russian long-range transport aircraft, the Il-76TD, flew through Ukrainian airspace on the evening of September 2. The aircraft belongs to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

The flight of the Russian Il-76TD, with tail number RA-76362, was detected by radar over the Chernihiv Oblast, in the northeastern part of the region. This was reported by the monitoring service Flightradar24, which tracks air traffic.

According to the service, the aircraft entered Ukrainian airspace at approximately 7:30 p.m. At around 7:40 p.m., the Il-76TD left the country’s airspace via the Russian-Ukrainian border and headed toward Russian territory.

According to Flightradar24 data, this aircraft belongs to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the website’s data, the aircraft took off at approximately 5:40 p.m. from the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. It flew near the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, traveling along the state border with Ukraine. The aircraft eventually landed in the Tula Region of Russia around 8:15 p.m.
