Warsaw Will Celebrate Belarusian Military Glory Day

The 512th anniversary of the brilliant victory at the Battle of Orsha.

On September 8, Belarusians will celebrate Military Glory Day in Warsaw’s Castle Square.

This will mark the 512th anniversary of our soldiers’ brilliant victory over the Moscow army on the Field of Krapivno. The Battle of Orsha in 1514 is one of the most glorious and significant victories in the shared military history of Belarusians, Lithuanians, Poles, and Ukrainians.

“This triumph demonstrates strength of spirit, tactical genius, and unity in the face of an external threat,” — said “Radyo Racyja”, the organizer of the event and leader of the “Razam” Solidarity Movement , Vyacheslav Sivchik:

— We managed to halt Moscow’s westward expansion for a century. We remember both our victories and our sacrifices. Right now, the Belarusian people are in a catastrophic situation. That is why I invite everyone to join us in showing that Belarus will break free from Moscow’s yoke. Our history must guide us. So, see you in Warsaw on September 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Castle Square for the Day of Belarusian Military Glory.

According to Vyacheslav Sivchik, this victory near Orsha has forever inscribed the names of our soldiers in the annals of European glory. That is precisely why the memory of this triumph continues to inspire us today to preserve our independence and national dignity.
