Drones Attacked Moscow: The Russian Capital Is On Fire In Several Places

A factory in the Moscow region has also caught fire.
On the morning of September 3, residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region noticed a drone attack, followed by fires and smoke at several locations. Russian authorities confirmed the air attack.
Information about the drone attack on Moscow appeared online at 9:19 a.m. on September 3. The Exilenova+ Telegram channel published a compilation of videos from Russian public groups showing smoke and fires. It turned out that apartments in a high-rise building in the town of Kubinka caught fire, and a helicopter was pursuing a drone in Pavlovsky Posad. The governor of the Moscow Region clarified that the fire occurred on the premises of a company in the village of Bolshoye Bunkovo, according to “Focus”.
An Exilenova+ report notes that a house in Kubinka was damaged by a Russian electronic warfare device, which deflected a drone to a height equivalent to a nine-story building. They also clarified that in Pavlovsky Posad, a Ka-52 helicopter (valued at $16 million) pursued an FP-1 drone (valued at $55,000).
The Russian media outlet “Astra” provided details on the drone attack on Moscow on March 3. It turned out that residents of Pavlovsky Posad did indeed hear the sounds of explosions and saw plumes of smoke. OSINT analysts determined that the fire occurred near 117 1st of May Street. In addition, Russians claimed to have seen a drone circling over the city in the absence of Russian air defense systems.
A statement was released by the governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov. According to the Russian official, the region came under attack by 56 UAVs, which were spotted over 11 settlements in the vicinity of the capital (Naro-Fominsk, Odintsovo, Mozhaisk, Serpukhov, Stupino, Lukhovichi, Yegoryevsk, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Pavlovsky Posad, Ramenskoye, and Sergiev Posad). The official confirmed a fire in Kubinka, where, according to him, a fire broke out on the 7th–9th floors and from which 10 Russians were evacuated. The incident in Pavlovsky Posad involved a drone landing on 1 Maya Street: people were evacuated, but no fire broke out. Vorobyov added that “in the Bogorodsky District, in the village of Velikoye Bunkovo, a drone crashed onto the grounds of a factory, where a fire broke out”: the name of the factory was not specified.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the results of the nighttime drone attack. Russian commanders reported that during the night of September 3, they shot down all 416 Ukrainian UAVs. The drones attacked 15 regions in the European part of Russia and were also spotted over the Crimean Peninsula and the Black Sea. On Google Maps, you can mark the settlements where explosions occurred near Moscow on September 3: we can see that the drones are flying around the Russian capital and approaching from the western and eastern outskirts. In addition, the settlements listed by Vorobyov form a ring around the area of the airports near Moscow. The drones were spotted at distances ranging from 11 to 60 km from the runways.
