The Quota For The Duty-free Import Of Electric Vehicles Into Belarus Has Been Fully Exhausted

Now, these cars are subject to a 15% duty.

The quota for the duty-free import of electric vehicles by individuals has been fully utilized. This was reported by the State Customs Committee.

“When planning further customs declarations, please take into account the requirement to pay a customs duty of 15% of the vehicle’s value,” the State Customs Committee warned.

As a reminder, legal entities exhausted their quota back in July.

Even after the quota has been exhausted, individuals can still import electric vehicles no more than five years old without paying VAT.
