A Powerful Explosion Rocked Occupied Crimea

A massive fire was spotted from a satellite.
On the night of September 7, explosions rocked occupied Crimea, after which a major fire was reported in the northern part of Armyansk. According to local residents, mobile fire teams were active in the area around the city prior to the explosion.
According to satellite imagery, the source of the fire is located on the grounds of a warehouse facility. This was reported by the “Crimean Wind” monitoring group.
According to “Crimean Wind,” around 12:45 a.m. in Armyansk, the activity of mobile fire teams could be heard, followed by a powerful explosion.
“Then a detonation was heard. It is not yet known exactly where the shell landed,” the monitoring group’s report states, citing a local resident.
A major fire broke out in northern Armiansk following the explosion. Its origin was identified using satellite data.
According to “Krymsky Veter,” the fire broke out in a warehouse complex. However, it is not yet known what exactly was stored there.
