Protesters In Brest Gathered At Square On Knowledge Day

A rally against the battery factory was held in the city.

On September 1, the Day of Knowledge, the citizens of Brest came to the central square to take part in the traditional Sunday protest against the battery factory.

According to Charter97.org correspondent, at the beginning of the meeting about 150 people gathered in the square to feed pigeons and discuss the problem of the battery factory.

The protesters from Brest are beginning the march through the central streets of the city. At the beginning of the march, the procession consists of about 200 people, Charter97.org correspondent reports.

More protesters join the column in Savietskaya Street.
