“Sooner or Later, Law Enforcers Definitely Feed Lukashenka to the Belarusian People”

The Belarusian revolution has already become an issue on the international agenda, an event of 2020 and has made a mark in history as a popular uprising against Lukashenka's fascist regime, writes political scientist Andrei Suzdaltsev on politoboz.com.
The major problem for the authorities is not the street protests and the terror on the part of law enforcers, the population go furious about, but the hatred between the two camps.
The national split will not end well, as Lukashenka's supporters sometimes use violence against their neighbours and even relatives.
Along the way, the myth about slavish tolerance of the Belarusian people, popularized for decades by the Belarusian authorities, has disappeared.
The second factor that changed the country is expurgation of Belarusian society.
Decreased interest in Lukashenka's rhetoric has become an indicator of the decline in his political status. He is beyond any interest now... Nothing depends on him.
The third factor that has significantly changed the image of the Belarusian leadership is a radical change in the status of the head of the executive branch of the Republic of Belarus. Since August, when Russia, China and so on recognized the legitimacy of Lukashenka's sixth term, but not the Belarusian people. The incumbent ruler of Belarus has formally become a hostage of the law enforcement agencies. The regime became more totalitarian and violent, i.e. a fascist state system is now functioning in Belarus, following the example of Romania, Hungary and Finland of the 1940s.
In other words, if earlier Lukashenka was able to control law enforcers, who, in their turn, were subordinate to him. Now it turns out the law enforcers control Lukashenka. It is a kind of circus attraction: the "man in the cage with the tigers", which can succeed if someone armed to the teeth and with a bucket of meat stands behind the "man". Otherwise, the "tigers" will devour the presumptuous "tamer", as they say, without seasoning. I hope a reader understands who is who in this show. That is how fascist juntas work.
However, the junta will certainly "swallow" Lukashenka if it suddenly realizes that Russia does not need the current president of Belarus. Sooner or later, hoping for the dropping of terror charges, law enforcers will try to rely on Moscow. Moreover, they have opportunities... In other words, there is no doubt that sooner or later, but inevitably, the Belarusian law enforcers will feed Lukashenka to the people dreaming of revenge. The coup will be taken by the Belarusian people as a national holiday. The security and law enforcement agencies will tyrannize the figures of Lukashenka's regime with pleasure.
One can see examples of such coups in history. For example, in 1974, the underground grouping of the Movement of the Captains of the Portuguese army, which carried out genocide in Angola and Mozambique for centuries, overthrew the authoritarian regime in Lisbon and organized a "carnation revolution". It is worth recalling that the overthrown Salazar regime had relied for decades on the monolithic support of NATO and the US. It did not help it... Washington DC instantly established contacts with the new power in Lisbon.
