The arsenal of methods is quite wide.

Political analyst Andrei Egorov, the founder of the Center for European Transformation, said that Moscow could use the whole arsenal of methods to put pressure on Lukashenka, telegraf.by reports.

Andrei Egorov reminded that nobody knows exactly what obligations Aliaksandr Lukashenka undertook at the meeting with Vladimir Putin in Sochi in September.

"But if they discussed the adoption of a constitution that would weaken the power of the president and redistribute power in favor of the parliament and the government, creating a field of political play uncontrollable by the regime, the Belarusian authorities will stubbornly refuse to make such steps," - the political analyst said.

However, according to Egorov, Moscow can use all instruments to put pressure on Belarus in order to achieve its goal.

"We saw the entire arsenal of Russian methods during the campaign to force Belarus to "deepen integration". It can be used again: problems with oil supplies, with the price of gas, with the access of Belarusian goods to the Russian market, information campaign and more," - the expert believes.
