Lithuanian Prime Minister Demanded Release Of All Belarusian Political Prisoners

No one will have discussions with the regime on the same terms.

It's impossible to conduct a dialogue with the official Minsk on the old terms. This was stated by Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Shimonite during a briefing with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who is currently visiting Lithuania, reports TASS.

"I would like to believe that no one has any illusions that we can return to the discussions with Minsk, like we had before," she said.

"All political prisoners must be released, and free and democratic elections must be organized in the country, so that neither the Kremlin, nor Brussels, nor Vilnius or Madrid, but the citizens of Belarus could decide on the path of their country," added Shimonite.
