HIMARS Destroy Pontoon Bridge, RF Wagons Floating In River

The strike was carried out on the occupants' crossing of the Oskil River.

The Ukrainian armed forces have demolished a bridge across the Oskil River, with the help of which the Russian Federation was supplying its grouping in Kharkiv Region.

The Russian occupation troops built the pontoon bridge in late June, transferring equipment, ammunition and fuel and lubricants to supply their troops in Kupyansk and Izyum. However, after the Ukrainian army received HIMARS, the bridge was promptly destroyed.

The Italian military analyst, NATO land forces, artillery and missile systems expert Thomas Tyner wrote about it.

On his Twitter page, he published a fragment of a video shot by Ukrainian fighters at the site of the destroyed bridge. It shows serious damage from the detonation of shells, with smashed Russian Armed Forces freight cars floating in the water nearby.

"In late June, the Russians built a railroad pontoon bridge across the Oskil River to supply their troops in Kupyansk and Izyum... Then the US supplied HIMARS to Ukraine. Finally we got a video of the destroyed GMLRS bridge," he writes.
