Ukrainian servicemen fought to liberate Kherson, since the invaders, despite the withdrawal of troops, continued to provide armed resistance.

A video of the assault of the regional center was published by war correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko on his Telegram channel.

In particular, the journalist published a video that was filmed by a fighter first-hand. On the published footage, you can see how Ukrainian servicemen entered Kherson with battles.

The assault on the regional center, as seen in the video, was carried out under the cover of heavy equipment. The Ukrainian fighters had to fire grenade launchers and small arms at the positions of the RF Armed Forces, after which groups of special forces moved forward.

In addition, the video shows how a Ukrainian defender was wounded during heavy battles. His brothers-in-arms quickly got their bearings, evacuated the fighter to a safe place, and rendered him medical assistance.
